Behind the Copper Door - Provenance Festival Tour & Tasting - WHISKY DAY
Little Brown Dog Spirits

Our first ever WHISKY OPEN DAY.

We're not usually open to the public, but this year, for Provenance Festival 2024 you get the chance to visit and see what's behind the Little Brown Dog copper doors.

Learn all about independent whisky bottling, how we select casks, our approach to whisky maturation, finishing and bottling. You'll spend the afternoon with Andrew, who picks the casks, for a full open discussion about the process in great detail! (we warn you, he's a bit of a nerd).

We'll then host a whisky tasting in the warehouse to sample a range of different LBD whiskies, old and new, and a very rare chance to work though some cask samples and help us select the next Little Brown Dog single cask releases. Sample bottles will be available for drivers but we recommend getting someone to drop you off and pick you up for the full experience!

This really is an incredibly rare opportunity for a behind the scenes tour and tasting at Scotland's (second) best independent bottler (Independent whisky bottler of the year - 2nd place - Scottish Whisky Awards 2023).

We're based on a working farm and recommend you dress appropriately for the conditions, it can get chilly in the warehouses and wear sensible footwear, boots or walking shoes.

Cost: £15
Entry requirements: Places are strictly limited and all attendees MUST BE OVER THE AGE OF 18. We will be operating a challenge 25 policy so if you are fortunate enough to look under the age of 25 we will require ID from you and can refuse entry without a refund if proof of age cannot be provided.
