Down on the Farm

Trailer tours begin at the main farm buildings then head through fields to the sea cliffs. You'll hear about our cattle on the way; what breeds we keep, what we feed them and the joys of managing a suckler herd. From the cliff tops, we guide you on foot to the foreshore, a little-known part of Aberdeenshire's coastline, being accessible only by foot from the nearby village of Rosehearty. As we wander along the shore, we'll share our extensive local knowledge on the areas culture, rich history and natural heritage. We're always on the look out for marine wildlife too, from dolphins to seabirds, so be sure to bring your cameras and binoculars. Finally, a warm welcome awaits you in our 150-year old chaumer (farming bothy), where hot drinks and farmhouse baking await. Numbers are limited to 6 adults or 8 if guests consist of both adults and children.

Cost: Minimum charge £100 for up to 4 people, thereafter; Adult (13yrs+) £22, Children (0-12yrs) £12, 1 Adult and 2 children (0-12yrs) £40, Family 2 Adults and 2 Children (0-12yrs) £62
